I recently had the opportunity to present my research at the _World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC 2026)_ , held at Murdoch University, Perth, Australia, from February 8–11, 2026.
My oral presentation, titled “Enhancement in Short-term Photovoltaic Power Forecasting based on Signal Decomposition and Machine Learning Optimization,” was delivered under the session theme Artificial Intelligence in Renewable Energy. The conference brought together leading researchers, academics, and industry professionals from around the world, providing an excellent platform for sharing research findings, exchanging ideas, and building international collaborations.
Beyond the conference, the trip offered a memorable cultural experience. I explored Perth’s vibrant cityscape, visited renowned universities and local attractions, took a ferry ride, and observed dolphins in their natural habitat. I also visited Singapore and Thailand, where I explored iconic landmarks such as the Merlion, the National University of Singapore (NUS), and Chinatown. This international journey enriched my academic experience while broadening my understanding of different cultures and perspectives.
